With September of this year seeing some of the biggest games today being released (Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations), it's not surprising that other titles have been delayed so as not to be left completely in the shadows.

This could be the case with Battalion Wars 2 for the Nintendo Wii, with its original September 24 release pushed back to October 29, as you can see in the image to the right of this very article.

Do note that this article is in the Rumors section for a reason, as there's no confirmation yet from the people over at the Big N. Still, it's rather compelling that it was pulled back to such a date.

After all, GameStop usually lists the 1st, 5th or 30th days of a month if they don't know what date a game is actually getting released in. Say it ain't so, Nintendo! We here at QJ.NET have our fingers crossed.

Here's something none of us see everyday - a man in orange spandex shrinking himself down to the size of a soda bottle, with the purpose of bumping up one irate golfer's bogey into a par. Something only Japan can come up with, certainly - and it's here for your viewing pleasure, in the form of a gameplay video of Success' Go! Go! Minon for the Nintendo Wii.

Mind-boggling gameplay, this: From what we can figure out, you lead aforementioned spandex-clad man through the golf course, in order to get to your destination (being the golf ball) in the shortest time possible. It seems that Spandex Guy can only travel on domino-like paths and grass sprouts, as well as the occasional golf course gopher. Or beaver. Or badger. Whatever.

Don't ask us, we're not even sure. We'll definitely update you as soon as more information comes in, but for now, here's the video for you to enjoy.

Critics have bashed Apple for omitting Adobe Flash support from the iPhone's "real life" Safari browser, and with good reason: A quick spin around the web on an iPhone reveals sites that don't work, or don't work well without the plug-in. Now, it's rumored to be coming. The question is, was the original exclusion of Flash a technical decision or a business decision?
You'll recall Apple's celebrated announcement of YouTube support. However, the fine print suggested you couldn't get all YouTube video, but only those that had been rolled over to the Apple-favored H.264 video codec.
Although this was arguably a technical hurdle, Archos had just announced and demonstrated a Wi-Fi media player that could easily browse YouTube, and queue up any video on the site, using an Opera browser with Flash plug-in. Did the Archos 605 have that much more processing muscle? Teardowns of the iPhone have revealed a sufficiently sturdy ARM processor, so we think it's doubtful.

It looks like Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is one of the most highly anticipated titles on the Wii. A lot of players have been wondering how the game plays. More importantly, players have been asking where the series is going after this foray. Who better to answer these questions than the creative team themselves of Retro Studios.

Play Online was able to sit down and chat with Game Director Mark Pacini and President and Retro CEO Michael Kelvaugh. Together, they discussed parts of the game that weren't in the two demo levels. They said re-traversal will still be a major factor in the game.

Aside from that, they made a few changes regarding the said feature to further polish the game as compared to Metroid Prime 2. Kelvaugh gave a few facts regarding this.

One was that the re-traversal needs to make more sense. The other is the overall difficulty. So the challenge is how do we address that without dumbing down the experience? We made sure we revised...

The game's director, Jin Okubo, has been flapping his gums recently, talking about the spin-off title set to grace the Wii. In regards to how in-game characters will react to the player's gestures with the Wiimote, the in-game characters will apparently follow the player's exact movements. Jin states that by "swinging the Wii Remote as players please, in-game characters will perform the exact sword actions that players are thinking of." If you're wondering exactly what we're talking about, think about how the baseball bat moves in Wii Sports.

Jin also elaborated on how the nunchuk attachment will be used in-game, explaining that the "Nunchuk is mainly used for body movement, but by shaking the Nunchuk it's also possible to block incoming attacks, evade dangerous situations, and to perform other unique moves. And there are various moves that can only be pulled off by combining Nunchuk and Wii Remote actions."

Yes, the picture quality is very rough! The guy's camera must have been made out of paper itself-- or maybe it was a camera-shaped cake that could only take real pictures by a freak accident. Alternately, it could have been a cell phone.

But even in low detail, you get the idea. A crafter named Patrick made a tiny papercraft Wii and Wiimote that any strong waggle could blow away. It would make a nice companion piece to that teensy TV from earlier this year. Now if only we could get the template, so we could amass an army of non-functioning Mini-Wiis.

It's always good to know how the attacks go before going into a fight, hence our Super Smash Bros. Brawl lesson of the day: Attacks 101.

As with any fighting game, certain buttons unleash an attack, normally a kick or a punch. Players can control the strength of attacks by adding certain button combinations. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, there are a number of attacks you can use to send opponents into oblivion: standard, strong, smash, and charged attacks.

The standard attack involves a simple press of a button (A on the Nunchuck-Wiimote combo and GC controllers, B on the Classic controller, and 2 on the sideways Wiimote). The charged attacks require players to hold the attack buttons, then it all boils down to perfect timing to let go of attacks. Strong attacks, on the other hand, can be accomplished by pressing a direction button with the attack button. Smash attacks can be done by tapping a direction button quickly together with the attack button.
