Take-Two has confirmed which consoles would run Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution. The title will be supported by the Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo DS, and the Wii come Spring 2008. While the game will be available for most consoles by then, the Wii's version is set to follow later in autumn.
This classic strategy game comes with all the epic turn-based goodness we have come to love about the title, a new multiplayer mode that supports video and voice chat, and a promise by Take-Two for "a level of gameplay that fans have never seen before."
Sadly, PSP owners would miss out on this gem. Its surprising that the handheld did not make the list seeing as how Sid Meier's Pirates! was released for the PSP earlier this year. Tagged as a game for "next-generation consoles and handhelds," this leads us to ask, "What happened?"
We'll let you know as more things come to light, and hopefully an explanation will present itself.

We saw NBA Live 08's (also coming to the Xbox 360, Wii and PC) E3 trailer screaming dunk-fests and new features a few days back, but that's not all EA Sports have to keep the ball rolling - we've found another which should please the crowd more than a buzzer beater would, and it's all about the new "Hot Spots" feature.
In this installment of the famous NBA franchise, players will now have the ability to see a NBA star's hotspots or where he has a higher percentage of draining shots down the ring. Looking at the video, it's not just your man's shooting ability that determines hot spots. Hot spots are more of preferences of where certain players want to make their shot, which vary a lot.
Watch the video yourself and you'll see that there's no discrimination with this feature which should deliver a much more dynamic game without creating too much balance issues.

D3Publisher of America's arsenal should prove to be more than just competent, as the company brings a healthy lineup to the table when E3 comes. As most of us know, the much anticipated Dead Head Fred is under that company's belt.
Aside from the head splitting insanity, D3Publisher also have a couple of Naruto games across all platforms that otakus and gamers alike would embrace. Another hot title is Dark Sector - a third-person action game whose trailers ESRB had pulled out from the net.
If that's not intriguing enough though, the promise of a dark, gritty experience packed with fast action, incredible superpowers and an engaging story should suffice. Players will find themselves in the shoes of Hayden Tenno, an elite black-ops agent who got his body altered by an infection which granted inhuman abilities.
That said, here's the D3Publisher of America's complete lineup of games that they'll feature when E3 comes. Seek them out starting to...

While Microsoft's E3 announcement of "Scene It?" for the Xbox 360 wasn't exactly awe inspiring, there are some brand new casual gaming controllers packed with the title that certainly perked us up. Details are slim at the moment, but four of the simplistic clickers will be included with the game. This could be Microsoft's Trojan Horse to battle against Wii's stranglehold on the casual gaming market -- particularly if the remotes include motion sensing within, which hasn't even been hinted at yet -- or could just be a nice freebie to make "Scene It?" a bit more accessible. We figure we'll know more soon enough. There's another pic after the break.Continue reading Microsoft shows off new Xbox 360 controller for casual gamers

We all know Konami never holds anything back when it comes to big video game events, and this year's E3 is no different. Just now, the gaming giant announced nine games that will be showing off some flair under Konami's belt during the party.
Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party for the Wii is sure to dominate the dance floor, along with Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 2 for the PS2 which will revitalize the arcade hit that made players get off their comfortable couch to do some dancing and break some sweat. Featuring crowd favorite songs and new innovative game modes, we expect a sticky situation.
A couple more titles will be hitting the Wii: cutesy water droplet action Dewy's Adventure, and a fishing game Fishing Master developed by Hudson Entertainment. This new bait for angler orgy will feature the use of the Wiimote and Nunchuck as rod and reel, as players utilize different baits to hook up more than 100 fish in their quest to be the Fishing Master.

Konami has released some screens of their new Wii-style Dance Dance Revolution, entitled Dance Dance Revolution HOTTEST PARTY. And it mostly looks like a DDR game, with some small adjustments. Hottest Party (we're going to stop with the caps, if that's all right) includes the same Free Play and Diet Modes as other DDR games, but also includes simultaneous four-player mode for people with really big living rooms.
The most noticeable adjustment is head size. That's funny, and a little weird, but totally cosmetic and won't get in the way of anyone's Dance Dance Revolving. What's a little more interesting than cranial embiggening is the Wiimote/Nunchuk usage. There seem to be special arrows that instruct players to point their hands in a certain direction, much like Samba de Amigo. Sometimes even the on-screen characters hold Wiimotes and Nunchuks.
The dance pad has made it to the Wii pretty ...

THQ recently revealed that it will be bringing two new entries in the Destroy All Humans! franchise to video game consoles next year.
The first title is Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed. The game is currently being developed for the Nintendo Wii by Locomotive Games and should be released early next year.
Jack Sorenson, THQ's executive vice president of worldwide studios, revealed that Big Willy Unleashed will let gamers cause massive destruction on foot, in Crypto's UFO or at the controls of the Big Willy mech in a funked out version of the 1970s. Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed is also slated to be ported to the Sony PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable platforms.
Another Destroy All Humans! title is also in development for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 video game consoles. According to Sorenson, this open-world game - titled Path of the Furon - will follow Crypto on his "journey of enlightenment and destruction." Path of the...
