MTV's Stephen Totilo managed to not only take down Reggie's name, but also got him to plant himself in a seat for 15 minutes so that an interview may be conducted. Divided into smaller bite-sized chunks, the first-part of the proposed three-part interview has Reggie tackling many a subject. Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii and Endless Ocean are all discussed, but what we found most interesting were Reggie's comments on Project H.A.M.M.E.R.

Turns out, the game isn't canceled, but has just been put on the back burner. While the game could very well become lost in limbo forever, we're kind of excited to see what some time away from the project could do for the game. Because, frankly, what we initially saw at E306 was nothing worth writing home about.Read | Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments

Really enjoy God of War? Then Gizmodo Buddy Ramon, who created the ultimate DS Lite Zelda mod and the ultimate Legend of Zelda Wii mod, has something for you. It's the, dare we say it, ultimate PSP God of War Mod (Mod of War), and it's heavily inspired by the PSP game God of War.

There are red LEDs, golden chains (the game is Chains of Olympus), and a blood red and gold finish that adorns both the front and back. A lot of this stuff is hand sculpted as well. He's even throwing in a display case that looks like an old battle chest. The best part is that proceeds go to the Child's Play charity, which is Penny Arcade's charity to help out sick kids. What better way to play the upcoming God of War game than on this thing? [eBay - Thanks Ramon!]

How would you like to relax in a tropical paradise? Perfect weather, perfect scenery, and a perfect tropical drink to accompany you. In Rumble Falls, you'd have those (well, except the tropical drink) except you won't be relaxing any since you'd be brawling.

It's a stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Nintendo's upcoming brawler will be coming with a stage set in DK land as Rumble Falls is based on the scenery in Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat. Gameplay in this particular stage will feel a bit like the retro game Ice Climber - only harder. Why? Well, the screen will continually scroll up while you're brawling. So you have to climb up whilst bashing your enemies. Makes the battle a little more interesting, huh?

Anyway, check out the screenshots above and see that it is a battle to the top, literally. Stay tuned for more Super Smash Bros. Brawl news and info.

It's quite a surprise that Namco Bandai decided to take Soul Calibur into a whole new genre, with the new Soul Calibur for the Nintendo Wii being an action adventure game. Aside from this change, the game company also decided to make this game a Wii-exclusive. Gaming site Cubed was able to get hold of Jin Okubo, director for Soul Calibur Legends to talk about the game.

Okubo said that he and the Project Soul team - the development team dedicated to the Soul Calibur franchise - already thought of making an action game to add to the series. Seeing that the Nintendo Wii controls were ideal for sword-based gameplay, they decided to develop Soul Calibur Legends for the Wii, based on the results of their Soul Calibur-related survey.

The were no specific details available regarding Soul Calibur Legends' storyline, but Okubo said that the "Soul Calibur" touch is present in the game. And the touch is indeed prevalent in the game: Players will need to plow through enemies and...

If you still have some savings after purchasing the final installment in the Harry Potter book series last July 21, you might want to check up on this week's game releases. It's quite a big library to stir into your gaming cauldrons. In this week's On Shelves lineup, we find Square Enix's Final Fantasy II: Anniversary Edition for the PSP. That game's got a story epic enough to match the events at Hogwarts.

Console gamers can live on the fast lane this week with NASCAR 08 on the the PS3 and Xbox 360, while Wii owners get the thrills and horrors found in Escape from Bug Island - you might want to take some tips from Hagrid first though.

Those who want to go casual can pick up handheld games the likes of Ultimate Puzzle Games: Sudoku Edition and Chameleon: To Dye For! on the Nintendo DS. PSP owners though, who want to do an Ellen Ripley impersonation ("Get away from her, you b tch!"), might want to opt for Alien Syndrome.

Japan loves nature, Nintendo loves nature - why not make a game for nature lovers? That seems to be the idea when Forever Blue was still being conceptualized on paper. What we get is a game on the Wii about deep-sea diving, mingling with the fish, and getting intimate with life a few thousand feet below sea level.

Based on what we can gather from the official website, Forever Blue is about a group of ocean lovers venturing out to uncharted waters. Just like the feeling of putting a bunch of aquatic animals together in an aquarium hoping they don't eat each other, one word can describe a game like this: exciting!

For those fascinated with the beauty hidden so deep that sunlight can't reach, or those that are just fond of life under the sea, you might want to head over Forever Blue's website via Read link below. New videos are up, giving us a glimpse on what the game has to offer, and showing how people from all ages can appreciate it.

Some thing's brewing in the ESRB list and it could be an old classic coming back to life. We noticed that there's a game listed in as Elevator Mission by a publisher named UFO and it brings to mind a couple of games.

The first title to come to mind is a 1983 arcade release by Taito called Elevator Action which could have been renamed to go along with its jump for the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console. The Taito game featured a man who seems to be a spy fighting his way through a horde of enemy agents through 30 hostile levels. Spies do missions, so that may have been the rationale for the name change.

Yet another possibility is that this could be a resurrection of an ancient release on the Amiga system called Mission Elevator. There's not a lot of information available on that title, so we'll have to keep you pinned until we find new morsels of enlightenment on the matter.
