Wedbush Morgan recently released its list of anticipated launch titles and sales figures for both the PS3 and Wii. The sales figures they present are very selective and they do not predict figures for every title, but we take what we can get. Their entire proposed lineup and sales figures, which we must say is not a confirmed list by Nintendo in any shape or form, is included after the break.
Wii Sports (bundled with hardware) - Nintendo
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Nintendo
Excite Truck - Nintendo
Call of Duty 3 - Activision (200,000)

The crew over at Gamespot managed to site down and get a little face-time with the latest build of Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi 2, explaining that the game isn't going to settle for you just sitting on the couch, playing the game as if it's on any console other than the Wii. Oh no, apparently those eager to toss fireballs and teleport will have to actively perform these motions with the Wiimote.
Good news though, the controls are less frantic and demand less amounts of wild arm-flinging. So with a more refined control set, you're better able to control the in-game action. This new control scheme combines button-pressing with gesture-based gameplay. For example, to fly you'll press the C button to jump and hover, which will get your character off the ground. Once in the air, you can hold in the C button and move the controller up or down to increase or decrease altitude.Read | Permalink | Email this | Linking&n...

Although a date has yet to be announced for Call of Duty 3, there seems to be no reason why information should be kept from trickling in. We have here the new fact sheet for this action-packed narrative gameplay on the Normandy breakout, which paved the way for the liberation of Paris in World War II.
The game promises to deliver a "living battlefield for an unprecedented variety of combat, with advanced high-definition graphics, detailed character animations and explosive on-screen action" to give you the most intensifying war experience you could ever have.
Coming out on both the PS3 and Wii, the key features for the game are as follows:
Battle Actions: With the all-new close-quarters battle mechanic, the players get to fight hand-to-hand, as well as improvise explosive devices, disarm traps and execute a whole lot of ass-whopping skills a la McGyver.
Branching Mission Paths: Maximizing the technologies offered by the next-gen consoles...

We posted news last month about a downloadable Wii countdown calendar, and for the Wii-waiters out there, we've got another treat for you.
Yup, it's another Wii countdown calendar, courtesy of GoNintendo via Vooks, the Aussie gaming site. Unlike its software counterpart mentioned earlier, this one's an old-school post-on-your-refrigerator printable hard copy, and even comes with a checklist of the initial titles that'll be released with the Wii. Just the thing for guys too busy (or lazy) to turn on the PC, or are too dicey about DL'ing a new program.
This calendar's for the U.S. release, BTW.
Get the calendar below and let us know what you think about it.

All right, I admit it. I may be a Wii fanboy, but that doesn't mean I can't preorder a Playstation 3 and attempt to resell it for twice its value on eBay enjoy other consoles too. As such, I took a little trip down to my local mall (which has both a Gamestop and an EB Games) to see if I couldn't pick up a preorder for that bullet train of a console, the PS3, for pickup on November 17th. I arrived ninety minutes early, got to the front of EB Games ... ouch. Fifteen or more in line. I quickly bolted (provoking the ire of a security guard) to the Gamestop, where only eight or nine waited in line. I decided to throw my chips in with them.
The Gamestop employee arrived about thirty minutes before opening. He actually admitted the first two people in line several minutes later, and presold them PS3s. He then came out to the line and said that his store had only been allocated two measly units. While I later found out that the EB Games had twelv...

These days Wii rumors are about as common as PS3 delays. Anything and everything people scrounge up flies all over the interwebs but this one here is quite a doozy.
It's time to (hopefully) break out the fireworks and confetti 'cause an unconfirmed source told us that Wii system and accessory pre-orders are open TOMORROW. Re-read that a few times gents. It was hard for us to believe too.
Now the reason we say "rumor" is because we made a dozen calls to all our local GameStops/EBs and while a good chunk of them said yes to tomorrow, others said the boring non-helpful "sometime this week."
Still, even if it is "sometime this week" that is something to celebrate. Break the piggy bank and get your 50 bucks ready. Oh, and ignore those still trying to tell you that you have to trade in 50 dollars worth of games/systems/accessories. They are liars and thieves.
Celebrations commence!

Albert Camus told us once that we cannot really create experience, but we must undergo it. Although Nintendo gave us enough clue as to the whole Wiimote mechanism, they still tell us that the hands-on with the Wii won't justify completely the final product that'll be shipped to us. That's because the controller is still being fine-tuned before it hits the shelves later this year.
So our thirst for the Wiimote remains unquenched. However, we're giving you more stuff to learn about the Wiimote, courtesy of CVG. If you want to know about the Wiimote's weight, response time, and exactly how the Wiimote fares when one plays it on various Wii games, then read on.
Weight
The development of the Wiimote made the controller today heavier than it was when first revealed in gaming exhibits. The Nunchuck, of course, is far lighter because it doesn't have the force feedback motor and a battery pack that the Wiimote inherently contains.

Well, what do we have here? Nothing much...only an utterly comprehensive list of what you Aussie gamers can expect to come out for your favored next-gen consoles and handheld platforms. Thanks to PALGN's update and to the publishers Activision, EA, THQ, and Ubisoft for generously providing the list of their launch titles, you can now sift through it and mark that day red on your calendars.
The list, as it is comprehensive, is really long, so you would definitely want to be patient going through the whole thing. However, while the dates are official, the prices for the games have not been confirmed yet, so you better keep it posted here for more updates on that. But we don't think it's gonna go way above current retail levels, so no need to fret right there.
Here's the list:

13: LMA Manager 2007
15: Crackdown

Talk about a Revolution. Though difficult to see, the bottom of the poster features Iwata, Reggie, and Perrin Kaplan walking in badass black trenchcoats. If Iwata is Neo, though, where's Shiggy? And is Ken Kutaragi the "architect"? Nah. That guy couldn't make a square out of toothpicks.
